Terrence J Says 'Goodbye' to E! News to Move on to Bigger and Better Things! Shocking News:

Terrence J announced some shocking news on air that today would be his last day as anchor on E! News. After three years on the show, rising actor and producer will be moving on to bigger and better things both on camera and behind the scenes. In his short and sweet goodbye on air, he thanked his co-anchors and E! News family for the wonderful experiences as part of the team.

Big things on the horizon as popular TV anchor, Terrence Jenkins announced that he will be leaving his role as E! News anchor effective December 16.During his short and sweet on-air goodbye, Terrence said that he wishes to tailor his focus on acting and producing opportunities.

"I started hosting when I was 16 years old back in North Carolina, and I've been now on national television for over 10 years," said Terrence on E! News." Seventeen years, that's a long time, and I think in order for someone to grow it's important that you try new things and you create new challenges, create new dreams for yourself."

In a more detailed statement, Terrence hinted at his desire to delve further in the acting and producing world. "I've had a lot of opportunities come in in the acting space, both behind the camera and in front of the camera. And so, with all of that said, I wanted to announce today that I'll be leaving E! News," said Jenkins.

Terrence, who got his start on BET's 106th & Park in 2005 as a host, has starred in several films including Think Like a Man, Think Like a Man Too and Baggage Claim. Last year, Terrance published his first book, The Wealth of My Mother's Wisdom. In his latest project, he stepped into his first principle acting role in the upcoming film, The Perfect Match set to release early next year.

Aside from his on-air departure speech, he also took to Twitter to share his appreciation for the love and support over the years.
