Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy in promoting his upcoming film, Airlift is in talks to replace Hrithik Roshan for Nikhil Advani's most ambitious project, Bazaar.

Earlier this year, there were reports that Roshan, who is currently busy in Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro was the first choice of Advani to play the lead in Bazaar. But the Bang Bang actor walked out of the project because Advani's last two films, Katti Battti and Hero failed to leave any impact at the box-office. Earlier it was reported by Indian Express, that Roshan has not yet signed the project, but is delaying it because of his prior commitments.

Now after delaying the film for two complete months, it is now confirmed that Roshan is no longer working in Bazaar. According to DNA India, Roshan has lost his faith in Advani's abilities as a director and he would not want to take another risk with him.

"Hrithik lost faith in Nikhil's abilities and thought that it would be risky to team up with him for this film hence decided to opt out," DNA India confirmed.

Ever since Advani has gotten to know the Krrish star, who walked out from his dream project, he has started meeting Kumar for his next venture. Advani, who has produced Kumar's Airlift wanted to cast a big name from the Bollywood. So after Roshan walked out of the project, Advani decided to go ahead with Kumar. Kumar on the other hand, has liked the scrip,t but there is no official confirmation from the actor or from his representatives whether he has given his nod to the project or not.

The story of Bazaar will revolve around the Bombay Stock Exchange and the film may release in 2016. Kumar will soon share screen with Nimrat Kaur in Airlift, which is scheduled to release on Jan. 22, 2016.
