Despite being a Hollywood icon and fan favorite, Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence is convinced that her directors hate her. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the starlet dishes about her theory and which of her famous pals she would most like to karaoke with.

When asked why Lawrence keeps playing characters who have to sing, Lawrence replies, "You know I have this theory that directors hate me. I don't know why. I hate it that I have to keep doing it. It's the weirdest thing."

Lawrence has had to sing in some of her most recent roles, including The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and Joy, but she says this is in no way her fault. "I've never once put it out there that I think I can sing or that I even enjoy singing," she said, adding, "now it seems like I keep having to do it in every damn film!"

When asked who she would most like to do karaoke with, she said, "The first person that is coming into my mind is Emma Stone. Or I would choose Adele and I would just mouth along with her."

The famous threesome were seen out and about in New York City on Nov. 24, reportedly enjoying dinner together at NYC Mexican restaurant Cosme following Adele's appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Lawrence is currently making the promotional rounds for her latest film, Joy, directed by frequent Lawrence collaborator David O. Russell. The film is gaining Oscar momentum after some key nominations at the Critics' Choice Awards and the Golden Globes.

Mostly critics are praising Lawrence's performance. Lawrence won Best Actress at the Oscars for her role in David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook when she was just 22-years-old, making her the second youngest winner in the category ever.
