Eminem Wins: 'Most Popular' Youtube Rapper, New Album 2016 Twitter Pleas, Music Collab Soon?

Earlier this month, Detroit emcee Eminem finally exceeded 17 million followers on Youtube. Right now, the infamous "Rap God" is the most viewed hip-hop artist on the popular video-sharing website.

Thanks in large part to Shady's latest hit single, "Phenomenal" -

According to DJBooth.net, only four other acts have accumulated such a huge amount of online subscribers: One Direction (18 million), Rihanna (18 million), Katy Perry (17.4 million) and Taylor Swift (17.3 million).

And most other musicians with a similar sound can't even compete. Drake (recently deemed Spotify's most successful artist of 2015), has only garnered about four million followers so far.

As the report further concludes:

Em currently has the ninth most popular YouTube account in the world, which [currently] ranks number five in the United States.

Pretty impressive! But could the MMLP2 superstar increase such milestones if he releases another album in 2016. Several Twitter fans sure think so:
