Phoenix Mercury baller Brittney Griner and her estranged wife, Dallas Wings baller Glory Johnson, have been trying to finalize their divorce for quite some time now. While there has been a lot of controversy and turmoil within their relationship, things have potential to get ten times worse. Both ladies can't seem to come to an agreement in the fight for parental rights over their twin babies, which has caused a delay with their divorce proceedings.

According to Bossip, lawyers for the two WNBA players have been battling it out in court. Bossip obtained transcripts from court proceedings discussing how the lawyers are still having issues with paternity. Griner's lawyer, Tiffany McMillan, said that they have been able to come to an agreement in terms of ownership for different things; neither party will budge on the paternity issue. The problem comes in with Griner stating in her divorce petition that she was forced into participating in Johnson's IVF treatments. Johnson, on the other side, states that Griner was a willing participant from the beginning.

Johnson's lawyers now have to prove their case by turning over her medical records from the fertility clinic that administered her IVF treatments. Once the other side fully reviews the records the divorce settlement will be able to move forward.

The pair's relationship took a violent turn as they both were charged with assault and disorderly conduct earlier this year. Despite sustaining minor injuries, the two decided to wed in May 2015 in Arizona. Seemingly sweeping their issues under the rug, the couple announced that they were pregnant on June 4th. Just a day after Griner filed for divorce.

Johnson's twins, Ava Simone and Solei Diem, are currently hospitalized after being born premature.
