Israeli model Bar Refaeli was arrested and questioned by authorities in an investigation on tax evasion. The 30-year-old beauty, and ex to Leonardo DiCaprio, and her mother are accused of lying about Refaeli's residence, along with not reporting millions in income. Refaeli's attorney denies the allegations of the model evading taxes.

Refaeli's luxury Tel Aviv apartment was raided on Wednesday due to the Tax Authority believing she has been lying about where she lives to avoid paying taxes on millions of income. Non-resident Israeli citizens do not have to report earnings on the money they make abroad.

The pretty blonde is also accused of not reporting a Range Rover and Lexus she received from car companies in exchange for photos of herself posing with the vehicles. Ynet news reports that the model reportedly received thousands of dollars in "celebrity discounts," which were not reported.

Refaeli, 30, and her mother Zipora reportedly had their passports confiscated and have been banned from leaving Israel for 180 days.

The Tax Authority reportedly stated in court, "According to the suspicions, the attempt to cover up these facts and the attempt to distance these properties from the suspect were meant to create a false display according to which the suspect has no ties to Israel, as well as to avoid having to report the income from these barter deals."

The model, who married Israeli billionaire Adi Ezra in September, has denied the allegations of tax evasion.

Bar's lawyer, Giora Aderet, stated, "There is no drama. In the end, this is just a civil dispute. No one cheated anyone else. It will all clear up soon. This is a taxation issue that raises the discussion of who is considered a resident of Israel."
