Selenators anxiously awaiting the fourth studio album from former Disney starlet got a little fix to hold them off until the official release today. A track by Selena Gomez and the Scene called "Rule the World" has leaked online.

“Our love was made to rule the world/You came and broke the perfect girl/Forget you ever knew my name,” sings Gomez in the track that may be about her split with teen pop sensation Justin Bieber.

The track is not expected to be a single but it is quite the dance-pop number. The chorus is loud and arena-ready. The whole song reeks of big-room house music builds that would make the recently retiredSwedish House Mafia proud. “Rule the World” sounds like a gateway drug for tweens that leads to liking Kaskade. You have been warned.

The sound certainly fits with what she told Teen Vogue in an interview earlier this week.

“I made a huge fun dance record that I’m so proud of,” she said. “I got to record 20 or so great songs and work with a bunch of different producers and they’re all really fun, pop songs and a little Ellie Goulding-ish, a little island-y feel.”

“It’s a really fun pop record,” she continued. “I’m super stoked for it. It’s kind of been hush-hush about it and I’m excited for the single to come out and for my fans to hear it.”
The lead single, apparently titled “Come and Get It” should be dropping soon. In the meanwhile, listen to “Rule the World” below:
