Yesterday's episode of Saturday Night Live had a number of memorable moments, but it was the show's slam of "Pharma Bro," Martin Shrkreli, during Weekend Update that really hit a nerve.

Shkreli was arrested last Thursday for securities fraud surrounding some shady deals and clandestine actions he undertook while at Retrophin. Update co-anchor Colin Jost kicked off his segment noting that there is "a lot to be thankful for" this holiday season, then said that he was thankful for one person: Martin Shrkreli.

"First of all," Jost said, "Congratulations on reinventing yourself, Martin. Not many villains have a whole second, evil career."

Jost then admitted that Shkreli has somehow managed to become "the most hated man in both finance and the pharmaceutical industry." He then likened it to being the lead singer for both Nickelback and Smash Mouth.

"Guys, Martin Shkreli is a real-life Grinch. And you know what, maybe one day his heart will grow three sizes too big. And then, we're going to be there for him – to jack up his heart medicine by 5000%."

Much in the way Shkreli raised the price of an AIDS medication 5000%.

Since Pharma Bro's arrest, he has been quite active on Twitter:

Saturday Night Live welcomed in former castmembers Tina Fey and Amy Poehler this weekend as hosts. The duo were promoting their newest film, Sisters. The film was released this past Dec. 18 in theaters.

The best. Thanks to these two for an unforgettable #SNL. A photo posted by Saturday Night Live - SNL (@nbcsnl) on Dec 20, 2015 at 11:45am PST
