Had the Duggar's 19 Kids and Counting still been on the air with their TLC series they would have to consider another name change, as parents of the Christian clan, Jim Bob and Michelle are thinking about adding another child into the mix, rounding out their brood at 20 kids. However, with the complications that Michelle Duggar went through bringing her littlest one, Josie, into the world, and after suffering a miscarriage in 2011, the couple has decided to seek other options to expand their family – meaning adoption.

According to Radar Online, the family is thinking about bringing a new brother or sister into the mix for Jessa, Jill, Jana, and Jinger.

"They've been mulling it over for a long time, and they feel the time is right to get legal advice and get the process underway," the insider explained, according to The Inquisitr. "They're looking to adopt a child in the New Year."

While the family has gotten a lot of bad press in the last couple of months following a molestation scandal, cheating humiliation, and even a porn addiction, this is some happy new for the family as they get ready to start 2016 together.

The site is also reporting that the family is open to the possibilities of any kind of child, and aren't basing their decision on ethnicity or gender.

"Michelle says she doesn't care if they adopt a boy or a girl, or what ethnicity the child is," an insider explained, according to In Touch Weekly, "She says she just wants to help a child's life."

This happy news has been overshadowed by those claiming that it is all being done for publicity purposes to get their family back into the positive light of the media, with one source saying, "They're a desperate family who want to stay in the spotlight," according to Radar.
