Miss Universe 2015's Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez breaks her silence, raiming graceful throughout the mishap. It could possibly be deemed as the worst night for the 63rd Annual Miss Universe delegates. Comedian and talk show host, Steve Harvey, made a huge mistake at the finale when he initially announced that Ariadna Gutierrez, Miss Colombia was the winner when actually, the real winner was Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines.

Entertainment Weekly reported Harvey's announced, "I have to apologize, the first runner-up is Colombia. Let me just take control of this. This is exactly what's on the card." He explained, "I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake ... horrible mistake." The apology came after the 24-year-old model, Gutierrez, had received her crown, sash and flowers.

The top three contestants were Miss USA's Olivia Jordan, who placed third runner-up. Then a reversal of what was actually on the score card, which should have been Miss Colombia as second runner-up. And the winner was supposed to have been Miss Philippines. The Family Feud host seemed embarrassed, but did what may have been best, by confessing to the crowd of on-lookers that he had made a big mistake by naming the wrong lady.

According to the Hollywood Life, Miss Colombia finally broke her silence. She was emotional when the organization posted a video with her stating, "Everything happens for a reason, so I'm happy," she said wiping the tears from her eyes. "Thank you for voting for me." Both ladies handled the mishap with grace, even though they both looked confused.

As Pia Wurtzbach delicately put it, "It's a very non-traditional crowning moment, very 2015!"

Some of the performers at last night's competition were R&B singer Seal, Nine Track Mind singer Charlie Puth, and The Band Perry. The question is, will anyone remember anything other than the epic Harvey fail?

MStars News commends both winners and the seventy-eight other ladies for their hard work, poise and dedication!

Let's hope the world is forgiving to Harvey!
