From the White House to the coffee house, President Barack Obama is officially appearing on comedian Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The trailer for the upcoming season was released today, Monday, Dec. 21, and the end held a little surprise for fans.

Actually, a big surprise.

At just over two minutes long, the new trailer for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Season 7 shows guests Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Kathleen Madigan and Sebastian Maniscalco all cramming into various automobiles in order to grab a cup-o-joe with the former NBC star.

Except for Steve Martin, because it appears their car brakes down. So who knows if they ever actually get coffee.

Anyway, at the trailer's conclusion, we hear Seinfeld speaking with none other than POTUS himself.

Per a press release from Crackle, Seinfeld has said, "Growing up in the '60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut – doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space."

The comedian further noted that it was the President's "humor and generosity" above anything else that made him appearing on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee at all possible.

President Obama's appearence on Seinfeld's show isn't a total shocker, as he's been known to appear on several other shows and/or online programs in the past – such as WTF with Marc Maron or Zach Galifianakis' Between Two Ferns – most of the time to drum up some sort of conversation geared towards younger voters.

Before today's trailer and announcement dropped, Seinfeld teased it all on Twitter, as one does in 2015:

Season 7 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee kicks off on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 11:30 p.m.
