Joe Giudice Welcomes Wife Teresa Giudice Home After 13-Month Prison Stint

Being released from prison the day before Christmas Eve is the perfect present for Teresa Giudice, especially returning home to her family, E! Online reports. In fact, her husband, Joe Guidice, thought she deserved an extravagant present after her 13-month prision stint. Apparently a car worth an estimated $95,000 seemed like the prefect gift for the Real Housewives of New Jersey star.

Teresa was released at 5:01 a.m. Wednesday morning, and of course, the only way for her to make her exit would be nothing short of fabulous. She appeared to have primped in the federal prison bathroom because she was seen leaving with straight hair and a face full of makeup. Her lawyer, James Leonard Jr, met her at the prison doors and drove her home, Daily Mail reports.

She arrived home at exactly 7:30 a.m. and was greeted by welcome home signs on the outside of her mansion doors. Her four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10 and Audriana, 6, were especially ecstatic about her arrival. A yellow school bus was there waiting to pick the daughters up for school but Leonard drove the two oldest daughters to school after a brief reunion with their mother, E! reports.

Joe was waiting in the dark outside for his ride or die wife to arrive home with more than just open arms; he gifted her with a black 2016 Lexus LX570 with a bright red bow. When Leonard was asked who purchased the car, his response was short and sweet by alluding that maybe Santa Claus brought it, the publication reports.

Being happy to be home has to be an understatement. Leonard told press in a conference, "She's very happy to be here. She's very much looking forward to a nice quiet low-key holiday with her family."
