Since Scream Queens creator Ryan Murphy told fans in October that a male pop star was interested in joining season 2 of the horror comedy show, rumors have swirled that the pop star was none other than One Direction's Harry Styles. Now, rumors are swirling again as season 1 star Lea Michele talked to InStyle about all of the hype.

Michele, who played none other than the Red Devil killer mastermind herself, Hester, talked to the magazine about the show's tradition of having big name pop stars. Season 1 had Nick Jonas as a relatively big character, not to mention Ariana Grande as one of the infamous Chanels (she also happened to have the best death on the show).

"Nick was so funny on the show this year. Obviously, Ariana is hilarious. Ariana is such a great actress. Nick was just so funny with that Joaquin Phoenix beard. He's walking around saying everyone thought he was Joaquin Phoenix. So funny," the actress said.

Michele then gushed about Murphy's "probably amazing" plot lines for season 2, adding that she had heard rumors of a male pop star joining the show for next season.

"If it's Harry Styles, everybody better calm down," Michele says. "I love One Direction. Everybody knows this. I'm also thinking that he should be in the Wicked movie. He's our modern day Mick Jagger."

To add further credence to the rumors, a source told E! News back in August (well before Murphy's comments) that Styles was interested in starting a career in acting. The source also said that Styles had been offered roles, but at the time hadn't accepted anything. "He is not openly looking for stuff but is open to offers," the insider said.

Scream Queens has yet to be officially renewed for a second season. Stay tuned for updates!
