Year 2016 is going to be super exciting for Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor fans. There are several reports that are claiming that Bollywood's two most loved actors are going to work together in a film that will be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Recently, the 50-year-old Khan shared screen space with Varun Dhawan in his recently released Dilwale. Now there are reports from 9xe.com, that Khan is all set to work with another young actor for a film and this time, it's going to be Kapoor and the film will be made under YRF.

The online portal reported that the Chak De! India director, Shimit Amin is working on his next film and is planning to get Khan and Kapoor on board for the leading roles. According to DNA India, it was earlier reported that Amin is planning his next directorial venture with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, but that project has been shelved for some unknown reasons.

Amin has previously worked with Khan in National Award Winning Film, Chak De! India, which followed the story of female hockey players in India. In 2010, Amin worked with Kapoor in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, which garnered him the Filmfare award for the best actor. So, if reports are true then it would be the first time when Amin will working with these two celebrated stars in a single film.

While nothing has been confirmed as of now, and it looks like the first round of discussion have been fruitful, so it would be amazing for Khan and Kapoor's fan to watch them sharing a screen.

Khan will be next seen in Maneesh Sharma's Fan and Rahul Dholakia's Raees. Whereas, Kapoor is currently busy in shooting Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London with Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. So, after completing their projects, these two actors might sit down to sign the project.
