Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice has only been home one day and the drama has already started over her new Lexus SUV she received after she was released from prison on Wednesday, December 23, just in time for Christmas. MStars News has learned that Giudice's lawyer, James J. Leonard, Jr. is coming to her defense claiming that "she needs a car," and that should be the end of that story.

According to People, the new all black Lexus LX 570, which features black tinted windows, was sitting outside of the Giudice home when the mother-of-four arrived home to her family. Her husband, Joe Giudice was the person behind the huge gift that also had a red bow sitting on the top of the new car.

The Giudice's attorney added that her new car shouldn't be a big deal, because Mrs. Giudice is like "anyone else who needs a car." According to New York Daily News, Giudice's new set of wheels cost $90,000! Court documents claimed the couple still owed "$214,589 - a substantial portion of the $414,589 restitution the pair was ordered to pay."

Besides the car controversy, Leonard claimed that his client was taking everything all in. "She kept saying how surreal this was - that she went to bed last night in Danbury and before the sun came up, she's at home," Leonard added, "Very emotional. Very powerful. Something special."

Fox 40 revealed that Giudice was released 5:01 a.m. from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, Wednesday. It was an emotional day for the Giudice's and their four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. Their private reunion was filled with hugs, tears, kisses, and a lot of warm messages to Giudice.

Giudice served 11.5 months. The New Jersey star will be on home confinement until February. She will also have to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet until then.

"During that period, she will be able to work, she will be able to take care of business, medical (things)," Leonard explained. "She'll be out and about. And then when that period ends, she will begin a (two-year) period of supervised release."

Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice pleaded guilty in March 2014 to federal fraud charges. Joe Giudice will serve out his 41-month sentence March next year.
