It has been an interesting year for the former queen of VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York, Erica Mena. The highs and lows seem to have not been as explosive as the past episodes when she was a major castmate on the show. 1. Apparently Mena never realized that she would be a success in reality TV. On Dec. 1, she tweeted, "I used to ask God why me all the time. Why I had to have it so rough..." This message was reposted from Instagram but the link no longer works. Does she have a publicist who made her take down that post or was it of her own doing?

2. "Wish me luck Today. I have a big audition later today. Been practicing all night & morning. LoL literally," said the actress. Who knew that she's auditioning for roles? Close friend, DJ Ed, revealed to Buzz Writer Sibrena Stowe-Geraldino of MStars News, "Erica Mena has been a great friend/sister to me since the beginning of our friendship. She is a powerful Latina woman. She always has some serious power moves up her sleeves!"

3. A fan named @overdosedonlife asked, "What is your greatest accomplishment so far in life?" And she replied with a seemingly inspirational comment, "Leaving the pass behind. What's about to happen because of it will be so worth it."

4. Erica may have a soft spot that we didn't notice of the reality series. She engages with fans almost daily. Aussie said, "I saw @iamErica_Mena at Starbucks and I was so starstruck!!! She's so gorgeous !!!!!!" A replied followed, probably making @avssiieee day saying, "Coffee on me next time!"

5. Motivational quotes have flooded the reality star's timeline. She makes a point to say things that could encourage someone. "It takes a lot of courage to push through hard times. Never give up. Good things are coming your way."

6. Jade Mitchell said, "I wish you didn't quit Love and Hip Hop." The 28-year-old reponded, "Why? Don't you think I deserve some peace in my life? That fighting sh*t is old and WEAK." The Ricky Smiley Morning Show says Erica left LHHNY before the season actually ended!

7. Perhaps this tweet was for ex-fiance Shad "Bow Wow" Moss when she posted, "When you got the power to make a man become desperate." This month, the former lovers finally admitted they had called it quits by airing they troubles on social media. Bossip reported the reality star had a miscarriage when she was four months pregnant with Bow Wow's baby.

8. Peace of mind seems to mean a lot for Mena, not money. Do you know who's she referring to when she says, "My peace of mind is worth all of the money in the world. I don't care how much you throw at me"?
