'Person of Interest' Season 4: Will Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Amy Acker Hit Netflix?

Season 5 of Person of Interest will return to CBS in 2016. Before the upcoming 13 episodes, this is the perfect opportunity to re-watch Season 4, starring John Reese (Jim Caviezel), Root (Amy Acker) and Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), on Netflix.

In our fourth season finale recap, the war between the Machine and Samaritan left casualties and forged new alliances in its wake. After presumed dead, Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi) was last seen walking away willingly with Samaritan's agents. While Samaritan was executing its master plan, Greer's men put a bag over Control (Camryn Manheim)'s head and took her hostage. In the cliff-hanger, as Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine started playing, Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) walked out, with no gun, alongside Reese (Caviezel) and Root (Amy Acker) as they started shooting down Samaritan's agents.

According to Io9, "The wait has been agonizing. Time has moved as slowly as if we were trapped inside an overclocked computer simulation. But at last, the best science fiction show on broadcast TV in recent years will be complete on Netflix. A spokesperson confirms Person of Interest season four is available starting Dec. 30."

In our MStars News Interview, Michael Emerson (Finch) dished on this critic's favorite episode of the fourth season, If-Then-Else, in which The Machine imagined the deaths of the entire cast, "Well that was certainly a really interesting and conceptual episode. I loved reading it. It was hard shooting, because it was repetitive, but with subtle differences every scene. That's a unique experience in my television career to have shot an episode that was constructed that way."

Glee actress Jane Lynch will host the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, January 6 CBS at 9pm. Person of Interest is nominated for Favorite TV Crime Drama and the Passion of the Christ actor earned himself a nod too for Favorite Crime Drama TV Actor.

No word yet when the fifth season will premiere. Season 4 of Person of Interest will be ready for binge-watching on December 30.
