Scott Disick might have just finished a stint in rehab but that isn't stopping the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star from heading to Las Vegas to ring in the New Year. While we previously reported that the star was toning down his image now that he was sober, it seems that he is still hosting the 1Oak New Year's Eve party at the Mirage Hotel, and this is reportedly causing some tension in his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. While the couple is no longer together, this occasion is one that has pretty significant meaning for the pair, and it will be the first one that they have spent apart since they first started dating.

According to Radar Online, the 32-year-old is headed to Vegas and it is being reported that he didn't want to end the tradition of him and Kourtney being together when the ball drops.

"He begged Kourtney to go," the site reported. "Kourtney and Scott have spent every single New Year's Eve together since they became a couple. He told her that the only reason that he is doing this gig is because he could not stand to be at home while she goes out and has fun."

The couple posted an adorable picture on Instagram from last year's New Year's celebration, but it doesn't look like Kourtney will be by Disick's side for this year's festivities.

"As of right now, Kourtney is not going to go with Scott to Las Vegas to support him," a source explained, according to Hollywood Life. "Honestly, she wants nothing to do with this party."

However, while many might be nervous that the newly sober reality star will relapse as he is going to be surrounded by alcohol, but Hollywood Life is reporting that Kourtney sees this as a test to his sobriety.

"She wants him to do his allotted two hours at the club and have his mandatory dinner at Stack then she wants him to leave," an insider explained, according to The Inquistr.
