'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Talks Custody Agreement With Gary After Major Fight Over Fiancé!

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has been in a nasty custody battle with baby daddy Gary Shirley ever since she got out of prison for a drug addiction. After recently settling their custody dispute over little Leah, the MTV mom couldn't wait to talk about her happiness over getting her daughter back.

"We finally came to an agreement and I'm very happy that Gary and I are going to share joint custody of Leah," she told OK! Magazine. "This is something I've been waiting for. The time is perfect."

While Gary was reticent to give up half of his custody of Leah, Amber was able to convince him that it would be the best decision for benefit of their daughter.

"We talked for 30 minutes and I said, 'This is not healthy for any of us, this is not healthy for Leah, let's just be adults and do this,'" the reality star said. "There are certain things I did that made him feel a little better about it."

Amber then took the time to gush about her little girl telling the gossip mag, "Within the last year she's turned into this little girl. She's very smart, she makes A's in school and she loves to read! I couldn't be any luckier."

As MStars News reported, Amber and Gary got into a major blowup after he shockingly revealed in front of the MTV cameras that her fiancé Matt Baier may have fathered at least seven kids.

"From what The Ashley can gather from the child support cases filed against Matt, he allegedly has three other daughters and two other sons that he has not publicly acknowledged-even though several of these kids carry Matt's last name! They range in age from five years old to 25!" The Ashley Reality Roundup reported.

At least they were able to get past their big fight and agree on a custody arrangement for Leah!
