In looking back at 2015, it's all too easy to only remember the celebrity scandals. However, behind the scenes, many celebs put their fame and fortune to good use. DoSomething.org, a group that inspires young people to volunteer, just released their annual list of "Celebs Gone Good," and pop sensation Taylor Swift is at the top of the list. Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Zendaya and more make the list as well.

The star, who has famously donated to and spent time with fans in the past, is at the number one spot this year for several reasons. According to the site, Swift earned the coveted spot for performing a number of charitable deeds. The description is as follows:

"2015 was a huge year for Taylor Swift with 1989 dominated the charts and stadiums around the world. But just because Swift was busy promoting the album and tour doesn't mean she stopped being charitable. Not only did Taylor donate $50,000 to a young girl who had to miss one of her shows to undergo treatment for Leukemia, she donated another $50,000 to the Seattle Symphony, $50,000 to help fund arts education in NYC AND another $50,000 to her backup dancers baby nephew fighting cancer."

Swift wasn't the only big name to give back. DoSomething also recognized Miley Cyrus, who came in second place for creating the Happy Hippy Foundation. Her foundation rallies today's youth to fight for homeless youth, LGBTQ youth and other vulnerable populations.

Beyonce made third place for donating money to help jailed protestors of the unarmed killing of Freddie Gray, not to mention donating money to the #BlackLivesMatter cause. The site also recognizes Beyonce's work in Haiti, as well as her headlining the Made in America tour to "positively impact the education, income, and health of citizens in need."

Angelina Jolie and John Cena rounded out the top five, with Zendaya, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Viola Davis, Amy Schumer, and Demi Lovato rounding out the top 10. More on these winners, plus the details on who took spots 11 through 20, can be found at Celebs Gone Good's site.
