Everyone seems to have an opinion about the Bill Cosby sexual assault case, and this includes Eddie Griffin. The comedian pitched in his two cents during an interview with DJ Vlad posted Wednesday. In the interview, Griffin makes some strong statements, essentially taking the blame off Cosby and victim shaming the women who say they were raped, saying, "All of them said the same thing: We 'went to the room.' Why would you go to the room of a known married man?"

Why does Griffin come to Cosby's sudden defense? Griffin believes the accusations against Cosby, and the media, are all a part of a conspiracy against black celebrities. "There is a systematic effort to destroy every black male entertainer's image," Griffin said in the interview. "Nobody leaves this business clean...You're not going to die clean."

Griffin cited examples such as Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson, who all faced legal struggles of their own.

Griffin also says that Cosby's reported actions (he has been accused of drugging and raping dozens of women as far back as the 1960s) were more excusable in earlier times, saying:

"The '70s is a different time, alright. The '70s motherf-ers all had coke spoons around their f-ing neck. You go to the disco, the line is laid out on the damn table. When you want to level out after a hit of cocaine you get a Quaalude."

"So did he rape these b*tches?" Griffin continued. "All of them said the same thing: We 'went to the room.' Why would you go to the room of a known married man?"

Cosby, who has been the subject of rape allegations in the past, was charged with criminal sexual assault on Wednesday stemming from a 2004 incident in Pennsylvania. Cosby was arraigned later that day and released on $1 million bail.
