Lamar Odom Update: Son Posts First Recovery Photo, But Where Is Khloe Kardashian?

Following Lamar Odom's hospitalization last October, estranged wife Khloe Kardashian called off their divorce proceedings to be able to make medical decisions for the NBA star as multiple health updates reached the press. Now, as the first picture of his recovery hits the web from his son's Instagram, where is the reality star?

According to The Daily Mail, Lamar Odom Jr. took to Instagram to post the first photo of his famous dad in the hospital along with sister Destiny. Things seem to be going better as the NBA star is accompanied by his two children, but his Keeping up with the Kardashians wife isn't in the picture even though it's known that she has been heavily involved in his recovery over the past few months.

Kardashian has been the one making medical decisions for Odom since he was hospitalized last October, though his children have been around every step of the way. As soon as news of his condition came out, Odom's former partner, Liza Morales, quickly flew to Vegas, also taking to Twitter to share that she was praying for the health of the father of her children.

Odom, of course, was found unconscious last October 13 at a Nevada brothel, remaining in a coma for a few days and placed on life support, then suffering a series of strokes as well as kidney damage. Later, he regained consciousness and he has been working towards recovery ever since, but it has been difficult for the past few months, as he's had to learn how to walk again and reportedly suffered brain damage at some extent.

A few weeks back, sources close to the NBA star spoke to TMZ, revealing that while Odom's recovery had been slow, he's getting better and he even took his first steps on his own for the first time in months over the past December.
