Mark Zuckerberg to Build a Robot Butler for New Year’s Resolution Like Jarvis in ‘Iron Man’?

What's your New Year's Resolution? If you're anything like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg – and honestly, you're not (no offense) – yours is to build a robot butler to help you around the house and at work. You know, like Jarvis in Iron Man.

Well, that's what Zuckerberg's hoping to do in 2016 ... alongside being a pretty successful tech genius, that is.

Anyway, the billionaire recently posted to his Facebook page that he's looking to challenge himself in 2016. He writes:

"Every year, I take on a personal challenge to learn new things and grow outside my work at Facebook. My challenges in recent years have been to read two books every month, learn Mandarin and meet a new person every day."

The young entrepreneur goes on to note that in 2016 he's looking to "build a simple AI to run my home and help me with my work. You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man."

In other words, this guy:

Zuckerberg notes that he's going to begin his challenge by determining what kinds of A.I. technology are already out there, and once it's built, he's hoping it'll control the everyday things in his household: music, temperature, lights, etc., all at the sound of his voice.

"Every challenge has a theme, and this year's theme is invention," he writes.

The Social Network inspiration continues to state that it should be a "fun intellectual challenge" for 2016. We can't help but see that it's something a whole hell of a lot more difficult than read two books in a month.

Which is something we're guessing most people don't do either... alongside building a robot butler.
