'Teen Wolf' Season 5B Spoilers: Will Tyler Posey's Scott McCall Face "Death" In Premiere?

MTV is just hours away from the season 5B premiere of Teen Wolf  in 2016. In the next episode of Season 5 of Teen Wolf, will Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien) face "death" against "The Beast?"

As we previously mentioned, Scott McCall (Posey) was just an average high school student when his life was suddenly altered after being bitten by a werewolf. In the upcoming fifth season, Scott and his pack will face a dangerous new threat known only as "The Dread Doctors." Growing up in this supernatural world, the teens are close to becoming adults as they head off into their senior year.

Holland Roden, aka Lydia Martia, teased that there will be a new monster with a very different aesthetic, something new that fans haven't seen in the past. Roden teases, "There is a special effect [for this new creature] that has never been seen on Teen Wolf before. We've had a lot of creatures, a lot of ears, blood, teeth and fur. We've had straps, leather, metal and bones, but this is different. You have not seen this effect yet."

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Khylin Rhambo (Mason Hewitt) adds more detail about The Beast, "The Beast is so powerful to the point where enemies have to ally and become allegiances together. And the Beast has no team. The Beast is solely its own entity, and its main mission is to just destroy. That's it. Nothing deep about it, just destory anything that comes in its path. And that's a little bit different because other baddies are probably out for Scott or this or that. And The Beast just wants to kill."

Dylan continues, "I can tell you that it's going to be someone in Beacon Hills. The thing is so cool - it's freaking huge. It's like the Incredible Hulk combined with the wolf. It destroys everything in its path. Did you see that big mural? He killed all those people."

Teen Wolf's Season 5B premieres January 5 at 9 pm on MTV.
