Jennifer Garner Photographed in Car With "Mustery Man"

For the past few weeks, there have been persistent rumors that Ben Affleck's estranged wife, Jennifer Garner, has been dating Grey's Anatomy alum Patrick Dempsey.  Now, as divorce proceedings go forward, the Alias star dating rumors are in high gear yet again after being caught with a "mystery man," even though the supposed new romance is reportedly a misunderstanding.

According to Radar Online, the Alias actress has sparked rumors that she's moved on from her husband of nearly a decade. Last Monday, Garner was spotted "chatting up a mystery man" while on a car in Los Angeles, not wearing anything on her ring finger.

The 43-year-old mother-of-three was seating in the passenger seat of a parked SUV in the Los Angeles neighborhood where she lives, Brentwood, not far from the Country Mart shops.

However, Entertainment Tonight Online later revealed that the so-called "mystery man" is actually Garner's accountant and friend, name unknown, so it was just a random rumor.  Considering Affleck and Garner's divorce announcement was one of the biggest celebrity breakups of 2015, it's no surprise that any possible new flame gets reported as both stars under heavy scrutiny.

Another rumor about Garner's romantic life that won't die down revolves around Dempsey, who only recently wrapped filming Bridget Jones' Baby. However, The Inquisitr reports that there's no truth to rumors of Garner and Dempsey being involved with each other, and it's being said that the actor has in fact rekindled his relationship with estranged wife Jillian Fink.

Last year, Affleck reportedly dated Christine Ouzounian, a woman who was once hired as a nanny for the former couple's three children. For months, the two were spotted together repeatedly, and one time there were even pictures of Affleck, Ouzounian and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady all hanging out together.
