Eclectic Icelandic songstress Bjork reports that she recently underwent laser surgery to remove potentially dangerous polyps and nodules on her vocal chords, and the procedure was an overall success! The songstress initially tried to keep her medical woes under wraps, but exercise and dieting did not help to cure the benign growth on her vocal cord, and the 47-year-old was forced to cancel a few concert appearances on her tour earlier this year. Actor Larry Hagman, who played ruthless oil tycoon J.R. Ewing on the popular long-running primetime soap opera "Dallas," died from throat cancer complications on Friday, Nov. 23 at 81. Hagman's family recently said in a touching public statement sent to the Dallas Morning News - "When he passed, he was surrounded by loved ones. It was a peaceful passing, just as he had wished for. The family requests privacy at this time." O'Bara was a high school student in 1970 when she supposedly fell suddenly ill. One day she threw-up her medicine and slipped into a deep, permanent state of unconsciousness.
