‘Mindy Project’ Recap: 'Caramel Princess Time' Reveals Issue Deeper Than Lateness

"The Mindy Project" returned Tuesday, Nov. 4, with a new episode, and it was funny as usual. "Caramel Princess Time" is all about being on time — or, rather, the fact that Mindy Lahiri is never on time. The episode begins with Danny waiting at a movie theater for Mindy as she lies about her location. By the time Mindy shows up "The Godfather 2," is sold out and Danny is not happy. The next morning, Mindy is late to work and it pushes Danny over the edge. Meanwhile at work, Dr. Fishman tells Danny he should go to therapy because of his outburst — the one time she saw him pretending to kill himself because of his Mindy problems. He turns her down saying, he doesn't have any issues he needs to work out. In the romance department this week, Tamra and Morgan set up Peter on a blind date with Tamra's friend Abby ("Fargo's" Allison Tolman), whom she describes as her twin.
