Estee Lauder reported flat revenue for the first quarter of 2015, which ended September 30, with net sales coming in at $2.63 billion relative to last year's $2.68 billion. Foreseeing a number of challenges in the coming months, the company also cut its guidance for the full fiscal year. Last night, Diane von Furstenberg's new reality series "House of DVF" premiered on E! last night. "StyleBlazer" reports on the new series that the originator of the wrap-skirt will be searching for a global ambassador for her brand. It's a new position for the company and one that will see the individual traveling all over the world on her behalf. Shoemaker Converse said Tuesday, Oct. 14, that it has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against 31 retailers and manufacturers, including Walmart, Kmart, Skechers and H&M, accusing them of ripping off the design of its sneakers, according to a press release. Converse says it's fed up with rival shoe companies selling what the Nike-owned company calls clear knock-offs of its Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers.
