Miley Cyrus can't get out of bed - and it has nothing to do with partying too much the night before. The pop star recently confirmed the sad news on Twitter that her beloved Yorkie mix pup Lila has died. The tiny canine just turned two-years-old last month, but had been experiencing health problems as early as October when she was hospitalized for unknown reasons. Cyrus, an avid animal lover who owns several pet dogs, is currently mourning the death of her adorable pup and has confirmed to fans through tweets that she might be MIA for a while so that she can properly grieve with fiancé Liam Hemsworth. Popular rock/jazz songstress Fiona Apple recently announced that she would be postponing the South American leg of her tour in order to return home and be with her dying 14-year-old pup, Janet. Apple's longtime pit bull friend was once used in a dog fighting ring - the 35-year-old pianist rescued Janet as a puppy at Los Angeles' Echo Park. The canine suffers from Addison's disease and has a major tumor in her chest - she does not have much longer to live. Apple posted a heartfelt message on Facebook on Tuesday (Nov. 20), explaining why she was forced to cut the tour short.
