Arsenal FC player Gedion Zelalem has officially been cleared by FIFA to play for the United States of America in International Football play. This makes the 18-year-old midfielder eligible for the Under-20 2015 World Cup next month, the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the USMNT which takes place this summer and the Under-23 Olympic qualifying team that plays this fall. Jurgen Klinsmann and the United States Men's National Team will be adding one of the brightest prospects in International football in 2015 it seems. The Barclays English Premier League's German born Gedion Zelalem has become an American citizen this week, with the possibilities of playing for the U.S., German or Ethiopian (his family's homeland) national teams, but source say he wants to suit up for Klinsmann.
