There is plenty of hype growing around the Andre 3000-starring biopic about Jimi Hendrix, All is by My Side, but this film is actually an unauthorized project. The people in charge of the estate of the late musician never gave the go-ahead for this film, but director John Ridley (12 Years a Slave scribe) made it anyway.
