Arguably one of the most recognizable faces on FOX's former series MADtv, actress Stephnie Weir now finds herself a familiar face on the new FX series The Comedians. The show, which premieres on April 9, stars Billy Crystal and Josh Gad - playing heightened versions of themselves - as a pair of famous comics who are forced together by the network to work on The Billy & Josh Show. Weir plays the role of Kristen Laybourne, the producer behind the show within the show. 'The Wedding Ringer' star Josh Gad has revealed that he stole the new 'best man for hire' comedy from diminutive co-star Kevin Hart, and that his '42 year old' daughter tells him off with stunning regularity. The 'Frozen' star took to 'The Tonight Show' last night and also explained to host Jimmy Fallon that while hitting the streets of New York that he ran into a "very familiar" character, Olaf the Snowman, who Gad voiced in the Disney hit. The casting and plot rumors for the Fantastic Four reboot movie, directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle) continue to swirl as we move closer to any official casting announcements. Book of Mormon star Josh Gad is teaming up with writing duo Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez to take on the film adaptation of the classic television series Gilligan's Island. Warner Brothers Pictures has also signed Gad for a starring role in the upcoming movie, but there has yet to be a confirmation on which character that would be. Read More »
