Giambattista Valli just announced his collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. In honor of the French fashion house's 10th anniversary, Valli is bringing his love for all things floral to lipstick in the form of five garden shades that have names like mandarin and peony. American designer Prabal Gurung launched his first beauty collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. Gurung chose Paris during Haute Couture Fashion Week to introduce his new project in July. The Singapore-born, Nepal-bred designer launched his eponymous label in 2009, which is also when he began joining forces with MAC for the beauty side of his runway equation. "This is the first time MAC is doing a collaboration at such a luxe level, and we thought it was perfect because it's so intimate," Gurung explains in his regal South-Asian-meets-British accent. Estee Lauder reported flat revenue for the first quarter of 2015, which ended September 30, with net sales coming in at $2.63 billion relative to last year's $2.68 billion. Foreseeing a number of challenges in the coming months, the company also cut its guidance for the full fiscal year. At this point, Estee Lauder expects net sales to grow 2 to 3 percent in 2015, versus its original forecast of 3 to 4 percent. Read More »
