Alicia Keys closed out the 2014 MTV EMA with a performance of her thought-provoking, political new track "We Are Here," which was nominated for Best Song With A Message on Sunday, Nov. 9. Her EMA performance wasn't set inside The SSE Hydro, like earlier sets in the night had been, instead she was broadcast from the nearby O2 Academy in Glasgow, which gave the performance an intimate feel. Ozzy Osbourne received the 2014 MTV EMA Global Icon Award last night. One Direction picked up three awards for Biggest Fans, Best Live and Best Pop act, with other wins for Ariana Grade, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber. Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Charli XCX, Kiesza and Grande were a few of the performers who took the stage throughout the evening. Read More »
Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keyes and Ariana Grande were among the performers at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on Sunday (Nov. 9). Winners included One Direction, Five Seconds of Summer, Minaj, Grande, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber among others. Ozzy Osbourne was honored with the global icon award. According to CNN, Minaj went through multiple outfit changes during the event. Among other things, she wore a white custom made by Roberto Cavalli. Ariana Grande, who recently ditched her signature ponytail, literally gave a high-flying performance during the show. She went on to grab two awards, one of which was for her single "Problem."
