Keeping with the theme of never changing, Prince refused to be recorded for the profile inside the magazine. I have listened to Janelle Monae's Metropolis and The ArchAndroid more times than I can count. So when I heard their would be more from the world of Cindi in the form of a new album titled The Electric Lady, I got pretty excited. After the debut of "Q.U.E.E.N." with Erykah Badu, I thought it was impossible for me to get more hyped for this album. I was wrong. Prince is notoriously protective of his music. The Purple One keeps his intellectual property on a very tight leash, claiming copyright infringement at the slightest whiff of a missed check.
