Taylor Swift, John John Florerence Dating? 'Trouble' Songstress' New Romance with Surfer Rumors Denied

Has songstress Taylor Swift moved on from ex Harry Styles and now dating surfer boy John John Florence? Or is the Hawaiian-native just "making waves" and causing 'Trouble' for T. Swift?

The 23-year-old singer's name is now reportedly being linked to the 20-year-old Vans World Cup Surfing Champ in the next surge of romance rumors.

Speculations indicated that Swift "went out of her way" to reach out to John John, reports NY Daily News, and that they were now exchanging text messages.

However, sources of E! News deny the "gnarly" rumors, as the two youngsters aren't catching a wave together anytime soon:

"There is no truth to this at all," the source indicated. "Taylor is not dating or texting this guy."

It was reportedly comments made by Florence, himself, that seemed to surge Swift's most recent fabricated fling in the first place.

During a surfing event in Queensland, an Australian TV reporter asked the pro surfer about Swift because she had heard "a little bit of something" about the two, states NY Daily News.

"Yeah, you know, it's kind of a secret thing going on right now," he said, smiling. "Can't bust it out in the public just yet."

This false statement, which may have been just light-hearted joke or a far-fetched dream, originating from John John rippled through the tabloids when a Life & Style source confirmed that Harry Styles' ex was "falling fast" for Florence. When asked how serious the alleged relationship was, the source claimed "not very":

"I don't think they've hung out yet. They've just been chatting."

With Taylor currently on the move during her "Red" Tour, which kicked off last to week, it's safe to say that Swift will be staying clear of Hawaii to avoid making anymore "waves" in the recent sea of rumors.
