Michael Buble made a name for himself singing covers of old standards by the likes of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, so just about the last song you'd ever expect him to sing is "Boats 'N' Hoes", the fake rap song from the Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly comedy Step Brothers."Well strap your ears in and prepare for a surprise, courtesy of TMZ.

Michael Buble -- I'm In for Will Ferrell Duet ... BOAT 'N HOES BEYOTCH

Buble says that he wants to duet with Ferrell before launching into his own jazzy, swinging rendition of the tune. Buble has been gradually shifting away from the standards that made him famous, releasing original material that edges closer to modern adult contemporary as his career progresses culminating in his biggest hit 2009’s “Haven’t Met You Yet.”

Ferrell and the Bub. It will break all the records.

Here’s the original if you are a cretin and don’t have this movie memorized.

What do you think? Would you buy a Ferrell-Buble duet or would you buy all of the Ferrell-Buble duets?
