Sure, this might have been an April Fools’ hoax presented by the fine folks over at Funny or Die; but in truth… it’s a rather great idea. Creator Adam McKay recently took to the below video which unveils a new format of video sharing, one even bigger than Vine, called Dips. Rather than being able to share six-second videos, McKay notes that 1.5 seconds is the perfect amount of time to spark creativity. And to prove that, Funny or Die decided to get an A-list roster of celebs to help them out. Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell and Jimmy Fallon have delivered the greatest lip-sync battle in the history of man (probably), entertaining a huge post-Super Bowl XLIX crowd in Phoenix, Arizona following the New England Patriots 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Appearing on The Tonight Show's special Super Bowl episode, the trio took on tunes such as Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love" and John Legend's "All of Me," and Fallon introduced a special secret guest, Drew Barrymore and busted his pants in the process. Still, nothing could quite top Ferrell -- who stars in Get Hard alongside Hart -- taking on Queen Bey and writhing around the theater stage. It's quite possible that nothing else ever will. Will Ferrell nailed a cheerleader in the face with a basketball during halftime of Wednesday's New Orleans Pelicans game against the Los Angeles Lakers, and had to be carried out of the arena by security guards. After stumbling around and dedicating the shot to "Dylan and Megan and Sarah and Dylan" — and calling out his wife 'Sarah' for cheating on him with 'Scott' — Ferrel lined up for a half court shot... but the obviously drunk star of Anchorman and Talladega Nights instead threw the ball directly into the unsuspecting face of an onlooking cheerleader. It looks like Will Ferrell is going Shakespeare! Well, at least, for a little bit. The funnyman actor has been tied to a new project with Mosaic, one that has now been purchased by Sony, the very same company who partnered with Ferrell on the likes of Step Brothers, The Other Guys and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, has reportedly purchased the project and will oversee production and distribution. The currently untitled comedy will center around the world inside a Shakespearean theater company. Read More »
