'Empire' Season 3 Spoilers: Lucious Lyon says "Revenge is Coming" in Shocking Promo Video!

Watch the Golden Globe-winning Taraji P. Henson as she brings back the sexy and sassy as Cookie Lyon in an all new season of Empire premiering March 30. Fox announced an early renewal for the series last week and dropped the promo video to give fans a glimpse at the latest Lyon family drama spearheaded by Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) as he threatens his son, Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Gray).

According to Entertainment Weekly, last season, the smash-hit series averaged over 21 million viewers across multiple platforms and earned a 7.3 rating among adults 18-49.Empire was also recognized at the 2016 Golden Globes with a nomination for Best Television Series-Drama. Fans can expect more of the top-quality programming when the show returns in two months.

Empire is known for its unpredictability and Hollywood Reporter praises the first season of the series for the "plot twists at every turn, and the dialogue itself was full of fresh surprise, moving deftly from salaciousness to sincerity - and delivering up more quotable lines than any other show in recent memory."

Fans can get a sneak peek as to what more to expect next season with this 30-second action packed clip featuring guns, violent threats, exploding cars, and Cookie holding a broomstick saying "We all got it coming, but you bout to get it coming right now."
