Jordan Spieth has just signed a mega-deal with Coca-Cola--fitting, considering he's a golfing mega-star. The financial particulars haven't been released--by Spieth nor Coca-Cola--but it has been suggested that the deal will be one of the biggest the company has made with an athlete.

According to ESPN, Spieth will do just about everything for his end of the deal: TV commercials, social media happenings, point-of-sale (whatever that means), and on packaging for different Coca-Cola products. No doubt a well placed bottle in his golfing bag, too.

"Coca-Cola has always been associated with iconic sporting events and some of the world's greatest athletes, so this is an incredibly cool opportunity for me," Spieth said in a statement. "As a brand ambassador, I look forward to growing awareness for the sport of golf globally and engaging with fans in exciting new ways."

Spieth had a historical 2015 that saw him finish the year as the number one ranked golfer in the world, according to the Official World Golf Rankings. He won both the Masters and U.S. Open Championship, and put a pretty bow on things winning the FedEx Cup. Which included a neat little bonus of $10 million.

Peggy Loos, vice president of connections activation at Coca-Cola, said the company wasn't actively searching for another brand ambassador, but she was so impressed with Spieth at the Tour Championship that she had all but no choice to go pursue the young star.

"Jordan is a tremendous athlete who not only represents the golf community but American culture," said Loos, via ESPN. "He is authentic, comes across as modest and very much represents the values of our company."

The deal means that Spieth now has two top 100 companies in the world as sponsors, with AT&T as the other. He also has lucrative deals with Under Armour, Titeleist, Rolex and NetJets, according to ESPN, giving the young budding star a nice platform to continue his pursuit of world domination.
