Sweltering heat and long pants don't usually mix. Unless you're a member of professional golf, then you have to force the two together no matter how uncomfortable it is. At least on the PGA Tour, that is. Europe is being extra edgy and are now willing to let their players forgo the pant option during non-tournament rounds (not actual tournament rounds yet, that's too forward, but at least the build up stuff). Jordan Spieth has just signed a mega-deal with Coca-Cola--fitting, considering he's a golfing mega-star. The financial particulars haven't been released--by Spieth nor Coca-Cola--but it has been suggested that the deal will be one of the biggest the company has made with an athlete. Read More »
MVP and Golden State Warriors' shooting guard, Stephen Curry has signed a contract extension with Under Armour. The MVP earned an undisclosed ownership stake in the sportswear giant as part of the new deal, which was announced on Wednesday at UA's Global Headquarters in Baltimore during annual investor day. Curry is now amongst two of his fellow Under Armour endorsers, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and golfer Jordan Spieth, with an equity stake in the company. Read More »
