Get your magnifying glasses ready, as the new DC's Legends of Tomorrow TV spot focuses on Ray Palmer aka The Atom. Although Brandon Routh's lovably dorky character was first seen in Arrow, he is now joining a new team of superheroes and villains who need to take on the evil Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The TV spot opens with Ray's infamous entrance in the first season of The Flash, where he flew in to Central City and greeted the S.T.A.R Labs team with a cheerful, "Hi, I'm Ray." The video also shows Ray talking to his old friend Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) about Captain Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill). "He's a time master from the 22nd century," Ray says, "He's a little hard to Google." There is a montage of scenes of the Atom in action, and it is revealed that Ray has a major plan: "I'm gonna figure out how to save the world," he says.

Ray Palmer proved to be one of the most popular characters to appear in Arrow, as he was introduced as the savior of Star(ling) City and Queen Consolidated. The character also served as a love interest for Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and a trustworthy ally for Oliver.

Legends of Tomorrow will bring together heroes like Firestorm (Victor Garber and Franz Drameh, who replaces Robbie Amell as the character's counterpart), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) as well as reformed criminals Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell). It has also been reported that Jonah Hex will appear in the 11th episode of the show, however it has not yet been announced who will play the DC antihero.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on The CW on January 21.
