Wayne Static's Widow Tera Wray Static Dead at 33 of Overdose?: 14 Months After Husband's Death

Tera Wray Static, widow of the late Static-X frontman Wayne Static, was found dead at the age of 33 on Wednesday, Jan. 13th of an apparent suicide. Reports suggest Tera overdosed on pills and left a suicide note, taking her own life 14 months after the death of her husband.

News of Wray's passing first began circulating on social media by friends, leaving fans in disbelief.

Dev Dahmer of Hellbent Productions posted the sad news of Tera's death on Facebook, noting that she was now with her beloved husband Wayne.

Jenn Remington later suggested that Tera just couldn't go on with life after losing her beloved husband.

Wayne and Tera were obviously very much in love, made evident from their interviews together.

Wray, who was born Tera Lends, rose to fame as a porn star and model for Hustler lingerie.

The couple met during Static's Ozzfest tour in 2007 and married in 2008 and Wray retired from the adult film industry.

Wray and Static were reportedly inseparable until Static's death at age 48 in Nov. 2014. He died from a fatal overdose of Oxycodone, Hydromorphone, Alprazolam and alcohol toxicity.

The news of Tera's passing was confirmed by her friend and adult entertainment attorney Michael Fattorossi on Thursday evening.

He later added on Twitter that he and Wray had been emailing one another on Tuesday, adding that he received a call from her roommate that she had taken her own life.

Encore Afterparties also tweeted about Wray's death, claiming a reliable source revealed Wray had overdosed and left a suicide note.

In July 2015, Tera paid tribute to her late husband with a sleeve tattoo.

The couple gushed over each other in interviews and Wray joined Static on tour so they could be together.

Static told Gotham News in June 2013 that his marriage to Tera played a part in the break-up of Static-X. In the interview, Static said Wray's presence bothered Tony Campos.

He explained, "Well, I wanted Tera (Wray) on tour with me, so she was always with me. She was with me during interviews too. We love each other. I wanna have her with me at all times."
