'Jagga Jasoos' Co-Stars, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor Have Broken Up!

Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who are about to share the screen in Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos, have reportedly broken up.  According to recent reports, the couple were in a relationship for over six years and were living together for a year but have now gone their separate ways.

Kaif recently flew down to Delhi for the promotion of her upcoming film with Aditya Roy Kapur, Fitoor, and Kapoor has reportedly moved in with his parents in Mumbai.

According to PinkVilla, Kapoor and Kaif tried their best to resolve differences that arose ever since Kapoor started working with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone in Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha but both the stars did not find any way out.  

"The two have officially parted ways. Three days back, RK moved out of their Carter Road flat with all his bag and baggage. Katrina soon flew off to Delhi to promote Fitoor. This is it for them. They have tried making it work for far too long but things weren't falling in place for them." the site reported.

The publication further stated that both the stars have made their peace with the fact that their relationship was not going anywhere and it was best for them to part their ways before thinking about actually settling down.

Mstars News earlier reported that the couple were heading for a breakup because of Rockstar actor's closeness with Padukone. In Dec. 2015, Kaif, who dated Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the past, opened up for the first time about her relationship with Kapoor and in her interview she made it clear that things were not going well between her and Kapoor. According to FilmiBeat, a source close to the couple confirmed that Kapoor and Kaif were in a live-in relationship and soon, they will head for a closure. The source also confirmed that things are not working too well between them.

"They have had differences ever since Ranbir went on a major publicity drive with Deepika Padukone for Tamasha," a source said.

Earlier this week, Kaif attended designer Manish Malhotra's fashion event and when it was asked to the actress about her breakup with Kapoor, the actress was quoted by DNA as responding:

"I don't think this is the right platform for this. Let's keep it to Manish and the show tonight."

Ranbir and Katrina earlier worked in hit comedy film, Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani and Raajneeti, and now they still have to shoot some portions for Jagga Jasoos. Fans of the Bollywood couple just hope that they will remain professional while shooting for the anticipated romantic film, which is slated to release in June 2016.
