Chelsea Handler, Heather McDonald Feud Before Netflix Premiere- Why E! Co-Stars Not Speaking

They were the best of friends for years, but it seems that Heather McDonald and Chelsea Handler have ended their friendship since Handler's E! series, Chelsea Lately, wrapped, and they are actually not even speaking now. The former besties were together behind-the-scenes and on-air for 7-years, but McDonald claimed that during a lot of that time she was always on edge while working there. However, Handler, who is just days away from premiering her new series on Netflix, Chelsea Does, she says that she has a different take on the working relationship and sebsequent feud with McDonald.

According to Radar Online, the comedienne and author, said that she wasn't so fond of McDonald towards the end because of her allegedly selling stories to the press in order for self-promotion.

"She exchanged stories to Us Weekly in exchange for them running her photo when she was working on my show," Handler explained in an on-air interview with Jenny McCarthy. "That's why I stopped talking to her. I could have fired her but instead, I just stopped spending any personal time with her."

"The fact that I would allow someone like that to even work for me when everybody was telling me to fire her, and she's complaining that I wouldn't hang out with her or discuss my negotiations. Why the f**k would I tell somebody who's talking to a magazine about my career?" the star continued.

According to PEOPLE, McDonald claimed that she "lived in fear, 100 percent," of the time that she was part of the cast of the series.

"I enjoyed my time there, I was happy, but I mean something would happen and my heart would be beating and I would be like, 'Is this it?' - you know? And then somehow I just managed to keep surviving," the starlet explained.

Handler even alluded to the fact that she knew McDonald was scared of her, saying that she would never have said anything to her face.

"She would never because she's f**king scared and she should be. Now she should really be scared," the Uganda Be Kidding Me author stated.
