The makers of the upcoming action thriller Rocky Handsome, starring John Abraham, have released the film's first official teaser trailer. The movie brings back the intense action look which fans last saw in Force.

Abraham's Rocky Handsome is an official adaptation of famous South Korean film, The Man From Nowhere, which is critically acclaimed for its astounding and stylish action sequences. The film follows the story of a young civilian, who has a dark past and now shares a unique bond with an 8-year-old girl. The entire story swirls around the man and his chase to find the mafia who have kidnapped that young girl along with her drug addicted mother.

Abraham has collaborated with Sunir Kheterpal to produce Rocky Handsome. According to Times of India, he will play the role of a "lean killing machine" in contrast to his earlier bulky avatar in action thriller films like Force.

Ever since the makers released the teaser posters of Rocky Handsome, fans of Abraham were eagerly waiting for the teaser or the trailer of the film, and now the released teaser has not disappointed the fans. The released teaser shows a never-ending action sequences, at the same time it do reveals a little part of the main plot.

The first part of the released trailer shows mostly action sequences from the film whereas the end displays a sweet dialogue by a little girl, who is going to play the most important role in the feature.

Rocky Handsome is directed by Nishikant Kamat and it also features Shruti Haasan. It was earlier reported by Mid-Day, that the action flick featuring Abraham was scheduled to release in Dec. 2015 but Abraham wanted to release his comedy film, Welcome Back to release first. There were further reports at that time suggesting the project has been delayed because of the lack of money. A source close to the production team stated that Abhram and Kheterpal are still looking for some studio to back their project.

"The production cost has exceeded the budget and they desperately need money to promote it on a large scale. They are hunting for a studio for help, but have not met with any success so far. The film is currently in the post-production stage and going through a lot of creative changes."

The action flick will now release in Feb. 2016.
