Claire Temple is turning out to be one very busy Hell's Kitchen nurse. Rosario Dawson's character was initially introduced in Daredevil before making a brief appearance in Jessica Jones with Krysten Ritter. Now Claire will be moving uptown to play a major role in the upcoming Luke Cage, where she could be helping Mike Colter's character fix a broken heart!

In an interview with IGN, Colter confirmed that Claire's relationship with Luke will not be anything like her relationship with the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.

"She knows of me, obviously, from a personal standpoint, but it'll be interesting to see because she will deal with me in a different way than she dealt with Matt Murdock. Matt Murdock's character's completely different from mine," he said before adding a possible clue to the role Claire will play in the show.

"Ultimately I think she's going to be a very good companion for Luke," Colter said. "I think she's someone that Luke needs in his life at this time."

It's not surprising that Claire will be the love interest in the series, since the character ends up getting romantic with Luke in the comic books. But it could be an issue for his super strong ex-lover who has met Claire in Jessica Jones. However, Colter seems unfazed by the possible conflict as he reveals that Dawson's character will play a major role in Luke Cage.

"She's going to serve a very significant part of the Luke Cage story. Not overwhelmingly so, but you will definitely be satisfied with the amount of screen time you see," he said, although he did not confirm how many episodes Claire will appear in.

"I can't speak to episode count, but you're definitely going to see her. She's definitely going to be someone that's going to have a large storyline and help out a lot," Colter admitted.
