WWE taped the January 21, 2016 episode of Thursday Night SmackDown from Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday, and this is the final show before Royal Rumble this Sunday. We've got full spoilers below, so let's see what unfolds.

Chris Jericho starts the show with a promo, but The New Day comes out to interrupt him. This segment eventually leads to the booking of a match that pits The New Day against The Usos and Dolph Ziggler (Is Y2J acting like a General Manager again?). The latter team wins when Jey Uso pins Xavier Woods.

Becky Lynch defeats Alicia Fox ahead of her WWE Divas Championship match on Sunday. Ric Flair and Charlotte are on commentary for this match.

Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose appear on Miz TV, and they actually manage to have a conversation about their impending Last Man Standing Match before they each hit their finisher on The Miz. Bray Wyatt defeats Ryback to continue his aggressive streak as we head into the Rumble match on Sunday. Titus O'Neil defeats Stardust for, what, the fourth time this month? Roman Reigns defeats The League of Nations by disqualification in the main event. The Usos rush out to help him, but The Wyatt Family then hits the ring and takes out everybody. Just like on Monday Night Raw, they stand tall as the show goes off the air.

What do you think of these Thursday Night SmackDown results? Do they get you hyped for the Royal Rumble on Sunday? Let us know in the comments section below.
