Celine Dion's Brother Daniel's Funeral Arrangements Revealed

MStars News has learned that Celine Dion's brother Daniel, 59, will be laid to rest after the singer says goodbye to her husband, Rene Angelil, on Friday, Jan. 22. According to the Montreal Gazette, Dion's funeral arrangements are scheduled for next week.

The world learned that the Las Vegas singer lost her brother just two days after Angelil died of throat cancer. Dion also died from cancer. With only a few days to take a break from burying her husband, Dion will have to prepare herself to say goodbye to her older brother.

According to The Huffington Post, Dion's brother had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain.

MStars News has learned that Daniel Dion's funeral will be held at the Saint-Simon-et-Jude Church in Charlemagne Monday morning, Jan. 25, where the Dion family is from.

Dion was the eighth oldest child of 14 total kids. He died at the Adhemar-Dion palliative care centres. The center was named after the Dion siblings late father.

Daniel Dion has two daughters and two grandchildren. Celine and Daniel's mother, Therese, along with their 12 brothers and sisters, are still living. The Dion's are accepting condolences at a funeral home in nearby Repentigny on Saturday evening, Jan. 23.

MStars News previously learned that Celine Dion's husband's funeral will be held at the same church he said "I Do" to Dion 21 years ago. Angelil and Dion got married at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal in 1994, and it will be the same place Angelil's funeral will be held.

Since losing her brother and husband all in the same week, Dion has appeared in public. Below is a collage of snapshots showing the singer traveling to Canada to say goodbye to her loved ones.
