Some people are just naturally stronger than others, while some use performance enhancing drugs or steroids to get stronger. I'm not sure which category Matt Poursoltani falls into, but either way, he showed an impressive feat of strength on March 23 at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association event. The Pilot Point High School senior broke his own state record of 650 pounds by bench pressing 700 pounds. You can watch the amazing YouTube video below.

It probably doesn't come as a surprise that Matt is one of the top football recruits in the 2013 class according to Yahoo! Sports. How long before we see Matt on an NFL field? He already would probably be the strongest player in the NFL and this kid is still a senior in high school.

According to Yahoo! Sports the top NFL bench press mark is 705 pounds by former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Larry Allen. Maybe even more impressive is how much Matt has improved over the last year. Matt's bench press of 700 pounds beat his record from a year ago of 570 pounds according to The Dallas Morning News.

While people will always speculate, especially when you produce such amazing results of power, Matt is proud to tell people he doesn't use steroids. The Texas high school senior says via The Dallas Morning News, "If you need something to help you work out, you need to get out of the sport. If you can't drive yourself that hard to come in here and work out, then it's probably just not for you." According to The Dallas Morning News, the young man's diet is a big part of his improved strength. His diet includes six sunny-side-up eggs every morning along with whatever meat he can find. One recent dinner reportedly consisted of two 16-ounce steaks and collard greens.
